About The Position

West Virginia University Medicine is seeking a full-time Hospitalist based at Uniontown Hospital in Uniontown, PA. This position is with WVUHS Medical Group. Uniontown Hospital is a compassionate, dedicated community hospital providing a full range of medical care to residents of Fayette County and the surrounding areas for more than a century. Health care services provided at our acute and specialty care hospital include an award-winning Cardiology Department and catheterization lab, an award-winning Stroke Center, and a state-of-the-art Wound Healing Center.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent.
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and Pennsylvania Medical License eligible.
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients.
