About The Position
West Virginia University Medicine is seeking a full-time Hospitalist based at Uniontown Hospital in Uniontown, PA. West Virginia University Medicine is actively recruiting Hospitalists for WVUHS Medical Group. Located in Uniontown, PA, this role is at a 150-bed facility. The position offers a competitive salary with quality and productivity incentives, paid malpractice insurance, and a 403(b) retirement plan. It features a flexible schedule with a week on/week off rotation, and no mandatory night shifts for daytime physicians. The role includes a closed ICU, no procedure requirement, and an on-site inpatient Rehab Unit with excellent subspecialty support. The facility utilizes EPIC EMR.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent.
- Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and Pennsylvania Medical License eligible.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients.
