About The Position

Ochsner LSU Health System – Monroe Medical Center & LSU Health Sciences Center seek applicants for a Hospitalist position. This position is for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine. The Ochsner LSU Health System of North Louisiana provides healthcare to more than 140,000 patients across North Louisiana with 600,000 clinic visits annually. There are more than 20 locations, including North Louisiana’s only Level I Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center at its acute care hospital, a newly renovated hospital with women's and children's services in Shreveport, La. and an acute care hospital in Monroe, La. designated as a Level III Trauma Center. Requirements

Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine
Eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure
Graduating Internal Medicine residents are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Collaborate on a customized plan of care for each patient with a collegial and multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses.
Provide physician leadership and input at all levels of administration.
