About The Position

West Virginia University Medicine is seeking a full-time Hospitalist based at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV. The West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent.
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• West Virginia Medical License eligible.
• Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients.
