About The Position

This position has been allocated for a board certified or eligible physician. This is a full-time Hospitalist (days) position with a physician-created schedule allowing time off flexibility. The average patient census per day is 13-15, with 9 daytime rounders. This medical facility is a referral center for trauma and emergency services and houses medical surgical units, a 34-bed closed ICU, a 42-bed emergency department, and 8 operating rooms.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency training Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing/privileging process
• Current BLS Certification is required before the first day of employment
• Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship are generally not considered at this time
