About The Position

Corewell Health South is seeking a full-time Hospitalist to join our team in Southwest Michigan. The ideal candidates will be patient-centered and team-oriented. This role provides 24/7 inpatient coverage at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital St. Joseph and Corewell Health Niles Hospital. The position utilizes a block-style schedule with providers rotating seven (7) consecutive days on followed by seven (7) days off. Epic electronic health record is used for documentation. The team includes adult medicine physicians and advanced practitioners, including dedicated nocturnists. Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital has a closed, 18-bed ICU and a 12-bed progressive care unit with 24/7 intensivist coverage. A variety of sub-specialists are available for referrals and collaboration opportunities on patient care.

Requirements

• Board eligible/board certified in Internal Medicine (preferred, but listed as a requirement in the context of the job description).
• LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required OR LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan required
