About The Position

Corewell Health South is seeking a full-time Hospitalist to join our team in Southwest Michigan. We desire candidates who are patient-centered and team-oriented. The Hospitalist Team provides 24/7 inpatient coverage at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital St. Joseph and Corewell Health Niles Hospital. This role utilizes a block-style schedule with providers rotating seven (7) consecutive days on followed by seven (7) days off. Epic electronic health record is used for documentation. The team includes adult medicine physicians and advanced practitioners, including dedicated nocturnists. Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital has a closed, 18-bed ICU and a 12-bed progressive care unit with 24/7 intensivist coverage. A variety of sub-specialists are available for referrals and collaboration opportunities on patient care.

Requirements

• Doctorate
• Physician (MD) - State of Michigan Upon Hire required or Osteopathic Physician (DO) - State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• DEA Registration - State of Michigan required
• Patient-centered and team-oriented candidates desired.
