About The Position
Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire Hospitalists to join their established Hospitalist Program in Jackson, CA. The program includes ICU coverage (6 bed) and vent management. Physicians can expect to work a mix of rounding and night admit shifts every month, with schedules made 3 months in advance. Physicians generally have 2 weekends off each month, and rounding is scheduled in 5–7-day blocks.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Eligible in Hospital Medicine by ABIM
- Strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and team-based practice skills
- Valid California medical license required prior to start
- Federal unrestricted DEA
Responsibilities
- Provide hospitalist and nocturnist coverage.
- Manage ICU patients.
- Perform vent management.
- Work a mix of rounding and night admit shifts.
- Participate in patient care within a team-based practice.
