About The Position
Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is seeking a full-time, board-certified, or board-eligible Nocturnist to join their experienced hospitalist group at El Camino Hospital - Mountain View. This role offers a broad scope of practice, admitting for all medical subspecialties and some surgical subspecialties. The position involves an open ICU with Intensivist support available 24/7. Nocturnists can expect to work an average of 120 overnight shifts and 40 swing shifts per year, with premium pay.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal or Hospital Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Admit patients for all medical subspecialties and some surgical subspecialties.
- Provide care during overnight shifts.
- Work an average of 120 overnight shifts and 40 swing shifts per year.
