Physician Hospitalist Nocturnist
About The Position
We are seeking a full-time Hospitalist Physician Nocturnist 7on7off to join one of our team. Saint Peter’s University Hospital is a non-profit, 478-bed acute care teaching hospital sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. We employ more than 3,600 healthcare professionals and support personnel, and more than 1,000 doctors and dentists are on staff at our hospital. We treat more than 23,000 inpatients and more than 245,000 outpatients yearly.
Requirements
- A Medical degree and the successful completion of ACGME or AOA residency
- MD or DO license in the State of New Jersey
- Board certification or eligibility from the appropriate specialty or subspecialty board
- CDS and DEA license required
- Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance
Responsibilities
- Admission, follow up care, discharges from observation, collaboration with APNs
- Closed ICU model, no procedures required. LTACH provides support with codes and pronouncements.
