About The Position
Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group (NMRMG) is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) moonlighter (casual) hospitalist to join their team of 23 hospitalist physicians. The role involves providing care at NM Kishwaukee Hospital and NM Valley West Hospital. This is a 24/7 in-house program with shifts available during both day and night. The medical group is physician-led, emphasizing leadership, wellness, and work-life balance, and boasts high physician satisfaction and retention rates. The position requires hospital privileges at NM Kishwaukee Hospital (DeKalb, IL) and NM Valley West (Sandwich, IL) and utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system. The community of DeKalb County is described as a warm, vibrant city with suburban sophistication, offering diverse recreational, arts, and entertainment options, located 60 miles west of Chicago. It is also home to Northern Illinois University and Kishwaukee Community College, with strong schools and a thriving business community. Nearby communities like St. Charles, Geneva, and Batavia offer additional amenities.
Requirements
- BE/BC in Internal Medicine

Responsibilities
- Provide hospitalist care at NM Kishwaukee Hospital and NM Valley West Hospital.
- Work shifts during days and/or nights as part of a 24/7 in-house program.
