About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a BE/BC General Neurologist to join their growing neurosciences program at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, IL. This is an employed full-time position with Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group. The program offers nearly 30 neurosciences subspecialties, including respected programs in cerebrovascular disease and stroke, movement disorders, brain tumors, Alzheimer’s, epilepsy, spine surgery, cochlear implants and sleep disorders. The position includes acute stroke care with advanced treatment options and access to clinical trials, as well as conventional and complex neurosurgery of the brain, brain stem and spine. The DeKalb County community is described as a warm and vibrant city, offering four seasons of recreation, arts and entertainment, located 60 miles west of Chicago.
Requirements
- BE/BC
- Physician must be board-eligible or board-certified in General Neurology.
Responsibilities
