About The Position
West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology in the WVU School of Medicine are seeking a General Neurologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. Ours is a collaborative atmosphere that allows practicing advanced medicine in a highly satisfying environment. We do so by recruiting some of the finest physicians from across the country – men and women who are often recognized leaders in their specialty or subspecialty; investing heavily in new technology; practicing – and frequently developing – the latest techniques and placing the highest emphasis on achieving great quality outcomes. Candidates will join an active team including neurologists, neuropathologists, and physical, occupational, and speech therapists for collaboration in the areas of patient care, research and education.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible for state medical license.
- Completed a neurology residency program.
- Board certified / eligible in neurology.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the area of neurology.
- Provide excellent patient care.
- Be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
