Requirements
- Board Eligible/Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians.
- Previous Hospitalist experience required.
- Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
- BLS required.
- ACLS required.
Nice To Haves
- Current CA state license is a plus.
- Procedures are a bonus.
- Experience in a Level II Trauma Center and Stroke Center is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Provide hospital medicine services.
- Manage initial vent management.
- Admit patients during night shifts.
- Collaborate with on-site imaging and labs.
- Work within a fee-for-service hospital model.
- Potentially perform procedures (though not required, it is a bonus).
