About The Position
Vituity is seeking Board Eligible/Certified Hospitalist physicians for a position at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio. This is a patient-care focused, short-term acute community hospital that serves as a STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Center. The facility has 80 beds, including a 13-bed ICU, with an annual volume of 55,000. Sub-specialty backup is available for most areas, excluding endocrine, rheumatology, neurology, and ID. Physicians can expect an average of 4 admits per day during weekdays and 5-8 admits per night. Vent management and some procedures are required, with an on-staff intensivist available. Visa candidates are encouraged to apply, and a current OH state license is a plus.
