About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hematology/Oncology physician, either board certified or board eligible, to join our dynamic team. This position emphasizes comprehensive cancer care, specifically centering on breast and gynecologic oncology, while also engaging in pioneering clinical research and participating in collaborative tumor boards. The selected physician will manage a diverse range of malignancies, with particular emphasis on breast and gynecologic medical oncology. They will deliver high-quality care within a thriving practice that includes three physicians and three advanced practice providers (APPs). The role involves actively participating in high-level tumor board discussions and collaborating closely with Surgical Gynecologic Oncology teams. Additionally, the physician will conduct and contribute to extensive clinical research initiatives focused on breast cancer advancements and utilize the EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system for patient management and documentation. The work structure is a flexible four-day workweek, sharing minimal on-call responsibilities among a group of 15 clinicians. The physician will also stay abreast of emerging treatments and technologies to ensure innovative patient care.

Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible (within 5 years post-residency) in Hematology and Oncology.
  • Active Colorado License, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred).
  • Current NPDB Self Query Report (within the last 30 days) is mandatory.
  • DEA registration must be obtained prior to starting.

Nice To Haves

  • Board certified in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical research, particularly in breast cancer.
