About The Position

Northwestern Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for a Hematologist/Oncologist in the western suburbs of Chicago. Northwestern Health Network Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Medical Oncologist. This role offers opportunities for program development locally and across the Northwestern Medicine network. The physician will join a team of five subspecialized medical oncologists in an established Hematology/Oncology Practice, making a meaningful impact in a dynamic and fulfilling environment. The Cancer center, located at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, IL, has 37 exam rooms and 31 private infusion chairs with on-site Radiation Oncology. There is close collaboration with the opportunity for academic appointment with the Robert H Lurie Cancer Center of Northwestern University. The position provides access to a robust clinical trials program with on-site research support staff. Collaboration in the cancer center includes surgical oncology, palliative medicine, gynecologic oncology, neuro-oncology and breast surgery. Excellent on-site support staff including social work, dieticians, nurse triage, dedicated medical oncology APPs, clinical research personnel, and genetic counselors are available to assist in comprehensive cancer care. The position utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system.
