The Opportunity Provide Specialized Care: Deliver personalized treatment to patients with all cancer types within a collaborative, disease-focused team structure. Collaborate Regionally: While your primary clinical home will be our flagship St. Vincent 86th Street Ministry in Indianapolis, you will have opportunities for professional growth and outreach across our expansive Indiana network. Engage in Research: Pursue your interest in clinical trials and cutting-edge research to advance the standard of care. Build Relationships: Utilize your strong communication skills to foster connections with a robust internal referral base of AMG physicians and external partners. Our Comprehensive Oncology Network You will be supported by a sophisticated infrastructure that includes: The 86th Street Campus (Indianapolis): A Level 1 Trauma Center featuring dedicated Cancer Care, Radiation Oncology, and a specialized Breast Center. State-of-the-Art Facilities: Access to the newly opened Lucas Family Brain & Spine Hospital Regional Support: Our network spans from the St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana (ranked 2nd in the nation for cardiac care) to full-service regional hospitals in Anderson, Kokomo, Carmel, Evansville and Fishers, ensuring a seamless continuum of care for your patients.

Requirements

  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • A focus on specific cancer disease states is preferred to align with our disease-oriented team model.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to building lasting relationships with referring physician groups.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
  • Evaluate and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
  • Coordinate discharge planning with case management.
