About The Position

District Medical Group Inc. (DMG), a 400+ physician not-for-profit multispecialty faculty practice group, exclusively contracts to provide clinical, administrative, and teaching services to Valleywise Health. Valleywise Health is a 550-bed health system that includes Valleywise Medical Center, three psychiatric hospitals, a Level I Trauma Center, a Level I Burn Center, a Level III OB Unit, and 11 Family Health Centers (FQHCs). DMG is seeking a BC/BE hematologist/oncologist to join the Department of Medicine in Phoenix, AZ. The faculty provide a full scope of hematology/oncology practice, including teaching opportunities with Internal Medicine residents and medical students. Administrative time and research opportunities are available. DMG is the principal affiliated academic practice partner for the Creighton University School of Medicine Arizona Academic Alliance with Valleywise Health and Dignity/St. Joseph’s Medical Center, as well as with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale. Faculty appointments to each medical school are potentially available commensurate with qualifications.
