About The Position

Ochsner Health’s Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Institute is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible hematologic malignancies and cell therapy physician, with a multiple myeloma subspecialization, to join its Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) section. The program welcomes interest and experience in myeloid neoplasms, plasma cell disorders, stem cell transplantation, and cellular therapy. Academic and investigational work is a structured part of the role, with protected time available. Leadership opportunities may be available to experienced and qualified candidates. The program has a FACT-accredited cellular therapy program and a CAP-accredited cellular therapy laboratory performing autologous and allogeneic transplants, including related and unrelated donor transplants. It provides CAR T-cell therapy using commercially licensed products and through active clinical trials. Clinical support includes medical assistants, registered nurses, pathologists, and molecular pathologists. Ochsner partners with MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, providing opportunities for peer consultation, adjunct appointments, and participation in a developing shared research platform. Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system serving Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and the Gulf South. The position is part of a physician-led organization with multidisciplinary collaboration, an internal referral network, and the EPIC medical record platform.
