About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is actively seeking a BE/BC, fellowship trained Gastroenterologist to join our team in Huntley, IL, located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. This position offers opportunities for General Gastroenterology with a practice model that includes outpatient practice with inpatient coverage. The role will be supported by an Advanced Practice Provider to facilitate inpatient consults and transition of care. This is a physician-led medical group that promotes physician leadership, wellness, and work-life balance. Hospital privileges will be at NM McHenry Hospital and NM Huntley Hospital. The position utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system and is located in exceptional communities with excellent schools, parks, restaurants, and amenities, with easy access to downtown Chicago by car or train.
