About The Position

Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited institution
• Active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date)
• Satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), with fellowship training in Gastroenterology

Responsibilities

• Outpatient-based practice with no hospital ER coverage responsibility
• Joining established and reputable GI practice with ample support staff, including a Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of GI experience
• Dedicated OR time at Fisherman’s Hospital and Mariner’s Hospital in the Florida Keys
• Endoscopic procedures will be provided in accordance with hospital privileges
• Candidates will have a background in functional GI disorders, and will manage preventive GI care including colorectal cancer screenings, and offer diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology services
• Demonstrated ability and expertise in EGDs, colonoscopies, and ERCPs
