Physician - Gastroenterologist (General/Outpatient)
About The Position
AtlantiCare is seeking several Board Eligible/Board Certified general and advanced endoscopy trained Gastroenterologists to join their growing team and incoming nationally recognized division chief. The Gastroenterology Division is state-of-the-art, with dedicated GI hospitalists and outpatient clinicians committed to excellence in advanced endoscopic and routine gastrointestinal care. AtlantiCare has a robust GI referral network, a shortage of GI specialists, and a strong infrastructure, guaranteeing endoscopic volume from day one. The division aims to recruit, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team, expand advanced GI services, serve as a hands-on leader managing complex cases, and drive strategic growth for the GI service line.

Responsibilities
- Recruit, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of faculty, clinicians and staff
- Expand advanced GI services, including endoscopy, inpatient, and outpatient care. This includes GI subspecialty- Pancreatobiliary, Motility, IBD services and more
- Serve as a hands-on leader—rounding, consulting, and managing complex GI cases
- Drive strategic growth for the GI service line in collaboration with system leadership and community.
