About The Position

Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan (Royal Oak, MI) is seeking a BC/BE Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FMPRS) physician with excellent diagnostic and surgical skills. The ideal candidate will be patient-centered, collaborative, and possess a strong desire to teach residents and medical students. The Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Women’s Urology Center specializes in diagnosing and treating sensitive and complex urological and pelvic health conditions in women. Patients are treated by board-certified, fellowship-trained physicians, advanced practice providers, and psychologists. The center provides specialized, compassionate, and multidisciplinary care for women with urologic and pelvic health issues, focusing on dignity, innovation, and improved quality of life. The center addresses a wide range of concerns including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, interstitial cystitis, chronic pelvic/bladder/vulvar pain, sexual dysfunction, post-cancer vaginal discomfort, and certain colorectal-related concerns. A comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach is utilized, combining specialized medical evaluation, pelvic floor physical therapy, and psychological support. Minimally invasive procedures and integrative therapies are also part of the care model. You will be an employed physician, supported by knowledgeable practice management professionals and leveraging the resources and referral base of the larger Corewell Health system. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are desired for program building, expanding the referral base, and strengthening community ties.

Requirements

  • BE/BC Fellowship trained & BE/BC FPMRS
  • Unrestricted License and DEA – Michigan
  • MD/DO
  • Certification – BLS (Basic Life Support)
