The Medical Assistant (MA) in Urogynecology and Female Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery will provide clinical care under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians. This role involves documenting vital signs, allergies, medications, and patient histories, preparing patients for examinations and procedures, and assisting physicians during procedures. The MA will also perform bladder scans, void trials, catheterizations, collect and prepare specimens, sterilize medical equipment, answer phones, schedule patients, and review provider templates. This position requires travel to other locations for coverage and training in related specialties.
