About The Position

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a Family Medicine physician for their primary care practice in Raeford, NC. This is a hospital-employed, 100% outpatient position within an established and growing practice. The role offers protected administrative time, low volume call, and easy access to specialists. System-wide urgent care clinics handle after-hours and weekend services. The practice utilizes an integrated Epic EMR with Abridge to simplify documentation. The FirstHealth Physician Group is a multi-specialty practice with over 400 providers, owned and operated by an LLC reporting directly to the board, with a provider-led organization. FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a financially stable organization with four hospitals and numerous healthcare facilities, headquartered in Pinehurst, NC. The community of Raeford offers a small-town friendly atmosphere with close proximity to Fayetteville and Fort Bragg, as well as access to golf courses, equestrian activities, the Atlantic coast, and Appalachian Mountains.

Requirements

Completion of an ACGME/AOA-certified Family Medicine residency program.
Board certification/eligibility in Family Medicine.
Clean background.
Unrestricted NC medical licensure.
NC DEA certification.
AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Provide primary care services as a Family Medicine physician.
Collaborate with other physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in an established practice.
Utilize integrated Epic EMR including Abridge for documentation.
Participate in a low volume call schedule.
Leverage system-wide urgent care clinics for after-hours and weekend patient services.
