The patient population is predominantly geriatric, with providers addressing diverse socioeconomic disparities and life experiences. SVMC boasts a 100-year history of healthcare innovation, including a 99-bed hospital and numerous practices. It has achieved Magnet Center for Nursing Excellence designation for six consecutive cycles, a testament to its commitment to nursing excellence. Southern Vermont offers a rich cultural environment, outdoor activities, and a strong work-life balance.
