About The Position

Ochsner Health System in New Orleans is seeking BC/BE ENDOCRINOLOGISTS with an interest in treating patients with pituitary disease and/or endocrine malignancies and endocrine complications related to cancer or cancer therapy. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to participate in a dedicated subspecialty multidisciplinary team and to join our team of eight Endocrinologists and eight Advanced Practice Clinicians. The position offers clinical practice opportunities including serving as investigator on clinic trials; US guided thyroid FNAs, as well as CGMS, Thyroid US and Bone Density interpretation. Engage in mentoring of our four endocrinology fellows, as well as internal medicine residents and medical students on rotation.

Requirements

• BC/BE ENDOCRINOLOGISTS
• Interest in treating patients with pituitary disease and/or endocrine malignancies and endocrine complications related to cancer or cancer therapy.
• Ability to perform US guided thyroid FNAs.
• Ability to interpret CGMS, Thyroid US and Bone Density.
• Ability to mentor endocrinology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students.
