About The Position

Ochsner Health is seeking an Emergency Radiologist to join their Radiology department. This integrated healthcare system has a long history of serving the community and is committed to innovation and patient care. The Department of Radiology offers a full spectrum of services with advanced technology and is a leading radiologic academic center in the Gulf South, supporting research and innovation with AI and Natural Language Processing. The Emergency Radiology section is comprised of 17 radiologists, many with fellowship training. The role involves covering ER and hospital inpatient examinations from the Ochsner Main Campus and affiliated community hospitals/urgent care centers. Ochsner Health is a multi-disciplinary hospital system with active surgical, transplant, cardiac, neurosurgical, MSK, and stroke sections, fostering a collegial work environment with multiple radiologists on duty, including residents, during shifts.

Requirements

Fellowship training in abdominal imaging, MSK, pediatrics, or neuroradiology is held by most of the current 17 radiologists in the Emergency Radiology section.

Responsibilities

Coverage of ER and hospital inpatient examinations from Ochsner Main Campus location as well as several Ochsner community hospitals/urgent care centers.
