About The Position

Ochsner Health is seeking an Emergency Radiologist to join their Radiology department. This integrated healthcare system has a long history of serving the community and is committed to innovation and patient care. The Department of Radiology offers a full spectrum of services with advanced technology and is a leading radiologic academic center in the Gulf South, supporting research and innovation with AI and Natural Language Processing. The Emergency Radiology section is comprised of 17 radiologists, many fellowship-trained, and offers both Full Time and Part Time positions. The role involves covering ER and hospital inpatient examinations from the Ochsner Main Campus and affiliated community hospitals/urgent care centers. Ochsner is a multi-disciplinary system with active surgical, transplant, cardiac, neurosurgical, MSK, and stroke sections, fostering a collegial work environment.

Requirements

Fellowship trained in abdominal imaging, MSK, pediatrics, or neuroradiology (implied by section composition)
Ability to cover shift intervals ranging from 5PM until 7AM
Onsite capability is highly desirable

Nice To Haves

Experience with AI modules for radiologist prioritization

Responsibilities

Coverage of ER and hospital inpatient examinations from Ochsner Main Campus location as well as several Ochsner community hospitals/urgent care centers.
