The ED has an annual volume of over 19,000 patients, with 24/7 anesthesiology and cardiology support, and transfer agreements with Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Vituity-staffed Hospitalists also provide integrated care solutions at this site.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
• Current CT license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients.
• Collaborate with Vituity-staffed Hospitalists for integrated care solutions.
• Work within a 92-bed facility with a 20-bed Emergency Department plus 6 fast-track rooms.
• Serve a rural population with low acuity.
• Manage an annual patient volume of over 19,000.
