About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for an Emergency Medicine Physician at a Critical Access Hospital in Oak Bluffs, MA. The role involves providing clinical coverage for night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with approximately 10-13 shifts per month. The physician will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics, managing acute illnesses and traumatic injuries, performing emergency procedures, and documenting patient care using the Epic EMR system. The department has 25 ED beds and offers limited onsite specialty support, with a dedicated Emergency Department team available.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Medical License
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- Active Massachusetts DEA Required
- ACLS Required
- Minimum 1 Year of experience
- Epic Experience Required
