Physician - Emergency Medicine - Rumford Hospital
About The Position
Vituity is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician to practice at Rumford Hospital in Rumford, Maine. Physicians join a 100% physician-owned partnership led by frontline physicians, with an ownership model intended to provide autonomy, local control, financial transparency, and opportunities for career development. Partners are supported by a corporate healthcare team and the peer-level expertise of Vituity clinicians. The partnership model includes equal distribution among practicing physicians, with no outside investors, external stakeholders, or long-term debt. The role offers an estimated annual base compensation of $275,000–$900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Physicians participate in the partnership model from day one, including profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages. Total compensation, including partnership income, varies by site and may significantly exceed the stated range. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
