About The Position
Join Our Team at Brookings Health System – Emergency Medicine. We’re seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team providing high‑quality, patient-centered emergency care. You’ll be part of a collaborative group serving a busy, well-equipped Emergency Department.
Requirements
- MD or DO, licensed (or eligible) in South Dakota
- Board-certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- DEA certification (state and federal)
- CPR, ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities
- Deliver full-spectrum emergency medical care in a state-of-the-art facility including three trauma rooms, eight exam rooms and a triage room.
- Work alongside a 5-provider group supported by experienced advanced practice providers staffed daily and highly skilled RNs with TNCC, ACLS, and PALS certification.
- Manage approximately 11,000 annual emergency room visits.
- Participate in a robust quality program dedicated to continuous improvement and excellent outcomes.
