About The Position

DrHouse is seeking board-certified physicians to join its telemedicine team and provide virtual care to patients across Alaska. Physicians may reside anywhere in the state, including metropolitan, rural, and underserved areas. The role offers a flexible schedule and fully remote work while delivering patient-centered care through secure virtual consultations.

Physicians manage a broad range of non-emergency cases, including primary care, urgent care, men's and women's health, and chronic conditions. Care is delivered through video appointments and supported by clinical guidelines, EHR tools, and remote collaboration with other clinicians.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or OB/GYN.
• Licensed to practice in Alaska.
• Comfort using digital platforms and practicing in a fully remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with patients virtually.

Nice To Haves

• ABOM certification.
• Licensure in multiple U.S. states, ideally including California, Texas, or Illinois.
• Telemedicine experience or a strong interest in virtual care.
• Passion for obesity and chronic disease management.
• Comfort providing preventive and lifestyle guidance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct video-based appointments for non-emergency issues.
• Treat patients in internal medicine and related areas, including urgent care, gynecology, and obesity care.
• Design personalized treatment plans supported by current clinical guidelines.
• Record encounters using EHR tools to support accurate follow-up and prescriptions.
• Collaborate remotely with other clinicians to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
• Stay updated on telehealth standards and evolving best practices.
