About The Position

Vituity is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to practice at HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital, a small rural critical-access hospital in Shelbyville, Illinois. The hospital has 12 beds, including a 5-bed Emergency Department, and sees approximately 4,800 patients annually, or 17 patients per day. The patient population ranges from pediatric to adult, with a significant geriatric population. The site uses Epic EMR with Dragon dictation and has respiratory therapy available. Vituity is a 100% physician-owned partnership led by frontline physician owners. Estimated annual base compensation is $275,000–$900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Partnership income may significantly increase total compensation; compensation for part-time and per-diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked.

Requirements

Board eligibility or board certification in Emergency Medicine.
Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians with extensive emergency department experience will also be considered.
