About The Position

Worldwide Medical is seeking Emergency Department Physicians for a rural Critical Access facility in Standing Rock, North Dakota. This position is a government contract with the Indian Health Service. The facility has a 10K annual patient volume, averaging 1-2 patients per hour. The Emergency Department is a Level 4 ED, and the physician must be comfortable working without Pediatrician or OB backup. The role offers block schedules of 7-14 shifts per month, with 12-hour shifts. Travel and lodging are provided, with flights into Bismarck and accommodation at the Prairie Knights Hotel.

Requirements

• ABEM/Residency Trained IM/FP.
• Life Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS.
• Active/Unrestricted ANY State MD/DO License, free of disciplinary actions.
• Unrestricted DEA.
• Relevant Emergency experience.
• Ability to work with no OB/Pediatrician backup.
• CV or Resume.
• Certifications (BLS, ACLS, DEA, ATLS).
• Three professional references with Name, title, email, contact Number, and relationship.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in a Critical Access Emergency Department.
• Manage 1-2 patients per hour in a 10K annual volume ED.
• Work with no Pediatrician or OB backup.
• Adhere to block schedules of 7-14 shifts per month.
