About The Position

Deaconess Clinic – Heart & Vascular is seeking a BE/BC electrophysiologist to join a 20+ physician group and a 20+ advanced practice provider group employed by Deaconess Specialty Physicians in southern Indiana. Inpatient and outpatient practice supported by APPs. The team includes 7 interventional cardiologists, 8 non-invasive cardiologists, 4 electrophysiologists, 2 cardiothoracic surgeons, and 20+ advanced practice providers. Deaconess Clinic – Heart & Vascular provides robust support that allows you to focus on what you do best—providing exceptional care to your patients. Our cardiovascular services are supported by advanced imaging in a non-invasive department, cardiac catheterization labs, and electrophysiology suites equipped with the latest AI technology. We have three (3) dedicated non-invasive departments at Deaconess Gateway, Midtown, and Henderson, two (2) dedicated cardiac catheterization labs at Deaconess Gateway and Midtown, and two (2) dedicated electrophysiology labs at Deaconess Gateway and Midtown. Each physician is supported by dedicated clinic office staff with a RN and CMA. Epic is implemented for both inpatient and outpatient settings, streamlining workflow. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a guaranteed salary of $775,000 for the first 12 months with earning potential beyond that, productivity-based compensation, and a $40,000 sign-on bonus. A quality bonus of up to $25,000 is also available. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, 401k, 457B, malpractice insurance, and moving allowance. The 401k offers traditional and Roth options with in-plan conversions. This employer is eligible for PSLF (Public Student Loan Forgiveness). The procedural focus includes Echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, stress testing, coronary CTA, R/L heart catheterizations, PCI, IABP, Impella placement, PPM, ICD, PF Ablation, EP Study, and more. Call responsibilities are reasonable and shared amongst non-invasive and interventional cardiologists. Requirements

  • BE/BC electrophysiologist
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Indiana
  • Proficiency in performing a wide range of cardiac procedures

Responsibilities

  • Provide electrophysiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Perform procedures including Echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, stress testing, coronary CTA, R/L heart catheterizations, PCI, IABP, Impella placement, PPM, ICD, PF Ablation, EP Study, and more.
  • Collaborate with a team of interventional cardiologists, non-invasive cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and advanced practice providers.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art facilities including advanced imaging, cardiac catheterization labs, and electrophysiology suites with AI technology.
  • Work within a fully integrated EMR system (Epic) for streamlined workflow.
  • Participate in reasonable call responsibilities shared amongst non-invasive and interventional cardiologists.
  • Engage in leadership, quality, and research opportunities within the Deaconess Health System.
