About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist who specializes in Electrophysiology to join us at Indiana Heart Physicians located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The ideal candidate will join a large, multi-specialty team of twenty-nine cardiologists, two cardiac hospitalists, and twenty-six advanced practice providers. Founded in 1978, Indiana Heart Physicians has proudly served the communities of South and Central Indiana. Our team is highly integrated and works collaboratively with Franciscan Health to provide high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care, continuously seeking new therapies and treatment options.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist specializing in Electrophysiology.
  • Strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.
  • Doctorate - Required
  • Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required
  • Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care.
  • Work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within the Cardiology service line.
  • Coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
  • Perform Permanent Pacemaker implants.
  • Perform Pacemaker Lead extractions.
  • Perform Leadless Pacemaker implants.
  • Perform ICD implants.
  • Perform Left Atrial Appendage Closure.
  • Perform Ablations: Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVT, VT Cryoablation.
