About The Position
Abrazo Medical Group is expanding its cardiovascular program across the Phoenix West Valley. This employed cardiac electrophysiology position offers a unique opportunity to join a well-resourced, collaborative cardiology network backed by Tenet Healthcare. With a dedicated EP lab block time at two established hospital campuses, a strong interventional cardiology referral infrastructure, and a structured ramp-up to full practice within approximately six months, the foundation for a high-volume EP practice is already in place. The role involves dual-campus coverage, a broad procedural mix, and dedicated support, with no STEMI call and minimal general cardiology backup required.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Collaborative practice approach within a multidisciplinary cardiology environment
- Comfortable practicing across a dual-campus model
Responsibilities
- Perform a broad procedural mix including AF ablations (PVI and complex/redo), SVT and VT ablations, ICD and pacemaker implants, device revisions, loop recorders, and advanced EP studies.
- Cover two hospital campuses: Abrazo West Campus and Abrazo Arrowhead Campus.
- Utilize dedicated EP lab block time at both hospitals, with expansion as volumes grow.
- Conduct clinic presence at both campuses.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary cardiology environment.
- Practice across a dual-campus model.
