About The Position

This position involves outreach clinic responsibilities and working within state-of-the-art EP labs, including biplane capabilities. The role utilizes advanced mapping systems (CARTO, EnSite, Rhythmia), Cryoablation, Farapulse PFA, and various CRM systems (Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Abbott). A hybrid lab is available for EP procedures. The position is part of a very active clinical EP research program, serving as a Platinum research site and Center of Training for Boston Scientific. The role utilizes EPIC EMR and involves collaboration with a team of 5 EP providers, 16 Cardiologists, and Interventional Cardiologists.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA (prior to start)
  • BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Clinical doctorate is required.
  • Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
  • Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
  • Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
  • Must be board certified or board eligible.
