About The Position

Vituity is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Critical Care physician to join its physician-owned partnership at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $100,000. The hospital is a 450-bed facility and primary teaching hospital for the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. It is a Level I Trauma Center with a 54-bed closed ICU and 22 ED beds. The practice has an annual volume of 20,000, with 2–3 admits per day per intensivist and 3–5 admits per night per intensivist. The hospital uses Epic EMR with Dragon dictation and has subspecialty backup except for dermatology, transplant, and hepatology.
