About The Position

Vituity is seeking a Critical Care Physician to practice at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, Illinois. The hospital is a 182-bed facility with a 14-bed open ICU and is a STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Center. The site has an annual volume of 25,000, with 7–10 encounters per day and tele-critical care at night. Physicians work within a tight-knit community built on collaboration among hospital administration, nursing, and physicians. The hospital’s Vituity-staffed Emergency Department offers integrated care solutions. Vituity is a 100% physician-owned partnership led by frontline physicians. Estimated annual base compensation is $275,000–$900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Partnership income, profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages are additional; total compensation varies by site and may significantly exceed the stated range. Part-time and per-diem compensation is prorated based on clinical hours worked.
