About The Position
Administer anesthetics and analgesics for pain management before or after surgery for critical care patients. Develop a plan of care for each patient, including a complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and/or referral. Confer with consulting physicians, nurses, patients, and patients’ families concerning treatment and patient care. The position is with Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana, with an annual salary of $424,613–$510,000.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O.
- License to practice medicine in Louisiana.
- Completion of an anesthesiology residency.
- Completion of a critical care anesthesiology fellowship.
