About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens Physician role in Critical Care at a Level IV Trauma hospital in Morgantown, WV. The position involves providing comprehensive critical care management for 16 beds in the ICU, including performing procedures like intubation and central line placement. The physician will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in on-call coverage, and document patient care in the Cerner EMR system. Coverage is needed from January 4, 2027, to July 5, 2027, with a clinical shift schedule of Friday – Monday, 12-hour shifts, and one weekend per month. All specialty support is available onsite.

Requirements

• Active WV license or Universal License (IMLC)
• Board Certified
• DEA Required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years in Critical Care experience

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care management for ICU patients.
• Perform procedures as needed (e.g., intubation, central line placement).
