About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist who specializes in cardio non-invasive to join their team at Franciscan Physician Network Cardiology Crown Point. The role involves supporting Crown Point, Indiana, with additional assistance as needed in Dyer, Munster, and Michigan City. The ideal candidate will have past or present IMCU and inpatient cardiology experience, a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction, and exceptional interpersonal skills. The physician will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist specializing in cardio non-invasive.
• Past or present IMCU and inpatient cardiology experience is preferred, not required.
• Strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.
• Doctorate Required.
• Physician License (DR) - Upon Hire Required.
• Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required.
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Upon Hire Required.

Nice To Haves

• IMCU and inpatient cardiology experience is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within our Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
• Provide support as needed in Dyer, Munster, and Michigan City.
• Manage an average inpatient volume of 15-20 patients per day.
• Conduct telehealth visits.
