About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist who specializes in Non-Invasive Cardiology (with an interest in heart failure and/or advanced cardiology as a preference but not a prerequisite) to join us at Indiana Heart Physicians located in Indianapolis, IN. Interested candidate will join a large collegial group at a tertiary care center which has no overnight call responsibilities, great APP support, and clinical pod structuring which allows physicians to work in a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. The physician will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within our Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. Requirements

Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist
Specialization in Non-Invasive Cardiology
Doctorate degree
Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire
Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire
Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within our Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
Manage inbox, surgical clearances, Peer-to-Peer reviews, and refill requests.
Provide care in a pod-based clinic structure with dedicated support team.
Utilize EPIC-based system for both inpatient and outpatient documentation.
Conduct an average of 11-22 outpatient patient visits per day.
Participate in a 1:6 weekend/holiday call rotation.
Provide mentorship in structural transesophageal echocardiography.
Engage with a robust clinical research program with over 50 active clinical trials.
