About The Position

This is a Locum to Permanent position for a Non-Interventional Cardiologist. The role primarily involves outpatient clinic duties with some inpatient consultation responsibilities. The physician will be responsible for reading cardiac tests such as echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, and EKGs. Call coverage is required, including after-hours office calls and ER-related phone consultations. Collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) is expected. The patient demographic is predominantly adults (age 18 and above). The EMR system used is Epic. Temporary credentialing is available, with an estimated credentialing timeframe of approximately 60 days.

Requirements

• Board Certification in General Cardiology
• Active Ohio Medical License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• License to practice in Ohio

Responsibilities

• Interpretation and management of cardiac diagnostics including Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs), loop recorders, echocardiograms, stress tests, EKGs, tilt table tests, and event monitors.
• Management of Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICDs) and pacemakers.
• Primarily outpatient clinic duties with inpatient consult responsibilities.
• Reading of cardiac tests, including echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, and EKGs.
• After-hours office calls and ER-related phone consultations.
• Collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
