Physician - Non-Invasive Cardiology (UTN)
About The Position
The WVU School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute are seeking a non-invasive cardiologist for a faculty position in Uniontown, PA. Depending on operational needs, the successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia, which would involve travel. The role includes providing excellent patient care, teaching medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows, with opportunities in clinical research. Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible for state medical license.
- Board certified or eligible in cardiovascular disease.
- Additional certification or intent to certify in imaging modalities such as echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and/or MRI.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care.
- Actively involved in teaching medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows.
- Participate in clinical research opportunities.
