About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist who specializes in Non-Invasive Cardiology (with an interest in heart failure and/or advanced cardiology as a preference but not a prerequisite) to join us at Indiana Heart Physicians located in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will join a large collegial group at a tertiary care center which has no overnight call responsibilities, great APP support, and clinical pod structuring which allows physicians to work in a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction, displaying exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. The physician will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within our Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist
  • Specialization in Non-Invasive Cardiology
  • Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required
  • Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required
  • Doctorate Degree

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within our Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
  • Manage inbox, surgical clearances, Peer-to-Peer, refill management, and medical records.
  • Provide care in a pod-based clinic structure with dedicated support team.
  • Conduct outpatient visits with an average volume of 11 - 22 patients per day.
  • Participate in weekend/holiday call rotation (1:6).
  • Engage in mentorship in structural transesophageal echocardiography.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art labs for cardiac CT, MRI, and vascular imaging.
  • Support outreach locations.
  • Participate in a robust clinical research program.
